In India, he is officially given the honour of the Father of the Nation.

Every year ,his birthday , October 2, is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti.

The united Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted a

 resolution by declaring October 2 as the International Day of Non- violence.

It is erected at the place where Indian laws are made.

Endangered Trees 

Can you think of some reasons why trees get endangered?

This tree is found
on the Canary Islands ,Morocco Madeira and the Cape Verde Islands. The tree has prickly leaves with white- green flowers.

This beautiful tree has become endangered . It is found only in Mauritius.

This tree grows up to 98 feet in height and 36 feet in diameter . Very few of these are found in Africa today.
