Hoe maak je een ontkenning in het Engels?

Stap 1: onderstreep het werkwoord

Stap 2: is het een vorm van to be (am/are/is/was/were), have got of een hulpwerkwoord (can/could etc.)?

Ja?       Plak not achter het werkwoord

Nee?  zet don't/doesn't/didn't (vt) voor het hele  werkwoord

Let op!   Na doesn't verdwijnt de -s  (he likes school/he doesn't like school) 

                 Na didn't verandert het werkwoord naar tegenwoordige tijd (we                             watched a                 movie/we didn't watch a movie?
