Verleden tijd Iets is in het verleden gebeurd en is nu afgelopen.
Vaak zie je een tijdsbepaling in de zin die het verleden aangeeft, zoals yesterday, in 2010 etc.

Wat doe je met het werkwoord? Twee manieren om de past simple te vormen: 1. bij een regelmatig ww krijgt het ww + ed
2. bij een onregelmatig ww gebruik je de 2e vorm/rijtje in je tekstboek op blz. 156.
In de zin mag maar 1 werkwoord in de verleden tijd staan en dat is de persoonsvorm.
