• De vorm van de 'Present Continuous' herkennen en gebruiken.
• Weten wanneer je de 'Present Continuous' moet gebruiken.

Welke drie tegenwoordige tijd vormen van 'to be' ken je?

Wanneer gebruik je de 'Present Continuous'?

• De vorm gebruik je als iets aan de gang is op het moment dat je erover spreekt of schrijft.
• Iets gebeurt dus nu op dit moment.
• let op Engelse signaalwoorden: now - at the moment - right now

Hoe ziet de vorm eruit?

am / are / is + werkwoord + ing

He is working at the moment.

Als het werkwoord eindigt op een -e, 

dan laat je deze weg als je -ing toevoegt.

Let op!

Als het werkwoord één lettergreep heeft en eindigt op een klinker + medeklinker verdubbel je de laatste medeklinker.
