Toekomende tijd = will +werkwoord (bij I & we kan ook shall )

• Zeggen dat iets wel/niet zal gebeuren: I will ring you back.
• Toekomst in het algemeen: We will/shall see you later.
• Vragende vorm: Will you listen?
• Ontkennende vorm: He will not go to school.

Zouden in het Engels: 

• zou= would
• zouden= would
• zou/zouden hebben= would have

1. I thought he would phone.
2. They said that they would help.
3. I would have refused.

Translate into English: Ik zou het niet doen.

Na "if" geen toekomende tijd: 

I will give a party if I pass my exam.

Na "when"geen toekomende tijd:

When he games, he will win
