microscope = instrument which you can use to view very small things, which you cannot see with the naked eye or with a magnifying glass.

  1. Turn the table down (with the large adjusting screw)
  2. Choose smallest lens (10 X 4)
  3. Clamp the specimen to the table
  4. Turn table up
  5. Look through the eyepiece and turn the large screw until the image is sharp
  6. Focusing with the center lens (yellow) (10 x 10 = 100)
  7. Look through the eyepiece and turn the small screw until the image is sharp
