Waar let je op?

1. Opbouw van de tekst: titel, plaatjes, tussenkopjes, alinea's, bron.

2. Kernzinnen: belangrijkste zin van een alinea, altijd 1 per alinea, vaak de eerste of de laatste zin. 

3. Woordenboek: arceer de woorden die je niet kent, alleen opzoeken als je de vertaling nodig hebt voor het beantwoorden van de vraag, controleer de betekenis van het woord in de zin.

4. Leesstrategie: globaal (advertenties), scannen (korte leesteksten), intensief (lange leesteksten). 

Welke soort vragen zijn er?

- open: antwoord geven in je eigen woorden

- multiple choice: kiezen uit de gegeven mogelijkheden, synoniemen, begrijp alle antwoordopties, denk aan de kernzin! 

- juist/onjuist: klopt het wel of niet met de tekst (letterlijk).

- gaten: vul het juiste woord in, lees de zin voor én na het gat, vertaal en bedenk zelf wat je in zou kunnen vullen. 

- citeer: schrijf een deel van de zin over.
