Adjectives

Adjectives geven meer informatie over zelfstandig naamwoorden:

"The quick brown fox jumps over the tall fence."

"The scary clown follows you to your green home." 

Voor welke woorden staan de bnw?

Which word is the adjective?
'I am currently eating a tasty sandwich completely."

1. currently
2. tasty
3. sandwich
4. completely

Which word is the adjective?
"The giant silver-back gorilla is unstoppable."

1. giant
2. silver-back
3. unstoppable
4. gorilla

Adverbs

Bijwoorden zeggen iets over frequentie (hoe vaak gebeurt iets) of hoe iets gebeurt. 

"He quickly reads the paper."

bijwoorden kunnen we gebruiken bij: bnw, ww, en andere bw.

De meeste bijwoorden maken we door -ly achter het bijvoeglijk nw. te zetten.

Turn the words into adverbs:
easy, bombastic, quick, complete

Adverbs

Adverbs of frequency: never, often, usually, sometimes, always etc.

"She always wants pickles on her sandwich."

"We are usually at home early." 

"Jade is frequently playing the piano."
