Adjectives

Adjectives geven meer informatie over zelfstandig naamwoorden:

"The brown fox jumps over the tall fence."

"The scary clown follows you to your green home." 

Wat zien we qua positie?

Adverbs

Bijwoorden zeggen iets over frequentie (hoe vaak gebeurt iets) of hoe iets gebeurt. 

"He quickly reads the paper."

Wat zien we qua positie?

De meeste bijwoorden maken we door -ly achter het bijvoeglijk nw. te zetten.

Turn the words into adverbs:
beautiful, quick, neat, swift,

Adverbs

Adverbs of frequency: never, often, usually, sometimes, always etc.

"She always wants pickles on her sandwich."

"We are usually at home early." 

"Jade is frequently playing the piano."
