• Comparing means finding out how two or more people or things are the same or different.
• Example

Comparing with Short Adjectives

• When you compare people or things with short adjectives,
• use -er for comparing two things.
• Use the -est for comparing more than two things.

Comparing with Short Adjectives

• With long adjectives (woorden), you don’t add -er or -est. Instead, you use more or the most.
• Use more for two things and the most for more than two things.
