Dutch vs English expressions

What is Dunglish?

Dunglish

A mixture of Dutch and English: the mistakes Dutch speakers make when speaking English

(usually expressions) 

- It's dog's weather 

- step out of bed with the wrong leg 

What we're going to do:

In the next few slides you will see some Dunglish expressions.

Look up the correct English version of the Dunglish sentence/expression/saying. You may use the internet!

For example:

There's a washlist of activities 

--> There's a number of activities 

As crazy as a door

To keep an eye in the sail

It walks out the hand

It's dogs weather

I don't snap there a ball from

He stinks an hour in the wind

unfortunately, peanutbutter

This was a sinful lesson
