* Als er aan deze voorwaarde wordt voldaan, is de kans heel groot dat dit zal gebeuren.

Dus, als iets waarschijnlijk is om te gebeuren - nu of in de toekomst.

Waar moet je op letten? 
* De First Conditional bestaat uit twee zinsdelen: eentje bevat een voorwaarde, de ander een waarschijnlijk resultaat / gevolg.
* Deze zinsdelen hebben beide een andere tense: in de if-clause (het zinsgedeelte met if) gebruik je altijd de Present Simple, in het andere zinsgedeelte (main clause) will + een werkwoord.

Verschil First & Second Conditional
Het verschil tussen de First & Second conditional zit in de waarschijnlijkheid.

Bij de first conditional is het mogelijk dat het gebeurd, bij de second conditional is de kans erg klein dat het ooit gaat gebeuren.
