Which elements make up a good podcast?

A fully scripted podcast is good when you are a beginner, for solo podcasts or when you have a narration style podcast. But what do you think is the downside of a fully scripted podcast?

1. Everyone needs to learn their part
2. You can't voice your own opinion
3. It doesn't leave room for spontaneous speech
4. There is no downside. It's just great.

What is very important in a podcast eventhough it might be fully scripted?

1. To avoid language errors
2. To entertain the audience

Be mindful of rambling and tangents. What does that mean?

1. Make sure you stick to the topic
2. Make sure you don't talk more than your guests
3. Make sure you talk as much as possible

Deadlines and Practical Matters

* Deadline 23rd March. Make sure you stick to this deadline.

* Make sure you arrange your gear and make a plan for your podcast. 

* On Monday 17th March you will be allowed to record your podcast but keep in mind that a limited number of recording gear is available.

Form Groups of 4

Remember the topics should be viewed from a young adult perspective!

Groups cannot choose the same topic. If more than one group is interested we will use the wheel of names to assign topics.

A podcast format will be handed out for you to use.
