Will vs. future continuous

Goal: you know the difference between will + infinitive and the future continuous.

What's the difference?

I will get home at 9 tonight.

When I arrive, my sister will be watching TV.

In the first sentence you describe a short activity that will happen in the future. (spontaneous decision/prediction based on experience/knowledge or intuition)

In the second sentence you describe a much longer activity and it will be in progress at a certain moment in the future.
