 Adverbs and adjectives
Bijwoord (adverb):
- Zegt iets over een werkwoord: lopen, praten, schrijven. (He walks beautifully.)
- Zegt iets over een bijvoeglijk naamwoord.  (My English teacher is incredibly patient.)
- Omschrijft meestal hoe iets gedaan wordt. 'Hoe doet (ww) iemand iets?' 'Hoe geduldig is mijn Engels docente?' --> incredibly 

- Bijvoeglijk naamwoord + - ly = bijwoord 
bv: perfect (bijvoeglijk naamwoord) + -ly = perfectly (bijwoord)

Bijvoeglijk naamwoord (adjective):
- Zegt iets over een zelfstandig naamwoord: mensen, dieren, dingen.
- Omschrijft meestal hoe iets of iemand is.

Let op:
gebruik ook een bijvoeglijk naamwoord achter: 'to be, seem, look, appears, feel, smells'
