1. Might the covid-19 pandemic have led to the rise of new needs, and thus gratifications, that users expect new media to fulfill?
2. The authors say gratifications obtained from new media are possibly reflections of needs that already existed instead of manifestations of new ones. If this is true why would new media be used if the needs are already met in pre-existing media?
