De juiste vormen (past continuous)

• Bevestiging
  onderwerp + was/were + werkwoord + ing

• Ontkenning
  onderwerp + was not / were not + hele werkwoord + ing 

• Vragen
  Was / were + onderwerp + hele werkwoord + ing

Let op de spelling met +ing

• lie > lying
• die > dying
  
  
• fly > flying 
• cry > crying
• travel > travelling (-el, doubt the "l')

• Het is een lange actie (past continuous) die door een korte actie (past simple) wordt onderbroken.
• Oftewel: iemand was iets aan het doen toen iets anders gebeurde
