FUTURE TENSE(toekomst)

De future tense gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren(voorspellingen) of dat je in de toekomst iets van plan bent. 

Er zijn 4 vormen toe te passen voor de future.

Future tense: Will

Will + hele werkwoord: om iets aan te bieden, beloftes, aankondegingen en besluiten, en bij voorspellingen waarvoor je geen bewijs hebt.

Shall = Gebruik als je vraag stelt om te helpen

Shall I help you with your homework? .......Shall I turn the lights on?

Hopefully the film will start anytime soon.

Tommorow we will do our homework.

I will help you if I have time this afternoon.

It will probably rain tommorow.

Future tense: to be going to + hele ww

als je in de toekomst iets van plan bent of als je een voorspelling doet waarvoor wel bewijs is. 

- I am going to help you this afternoon when I have done my homework.

- Look at the sky, It is going to rain this afternoon.

Future tense: Present continuous

voor afspraken in de toekomst waarbij tijd en/of plaats

al vaststaat.

- I’m working at the supermarket from four till six.

- They aren’t going to school on Monday

Future tense: present simple

tijden volgens een vast schema.

- The train departs at a quarter past five.

- The busses never leave on time

- My plane arrives at twelve o'clock

- Football practise is on Tuesday an Thursday
