*We are going to talk about the past simple tense of the verb "To be" which means "zijn"
*We are first going to repeat the verb "to be" in present simple tense, just to be sure.
*After that, I will explain how the past simple tense works

*The verb "to be" means "zijn".
*To be is an irregular verb, which means that it doesn't listen to any grammar rules.
*To be in the present time has 3 different forms.
