Global perspectives – mini project

The project

We want you to think about the following question in as much detail as possible:

What has to happen before you can eat a marshmallow?

Answer this question in pairs, write down your answer on the sheet of paper.

Intro — The world is connected in many ways and a lot of steps have to happen for us to get the things we need. A lot of stuff has to happen for us to be able to buy groceries in the supermarket.

Think about topics such as:

• Transport
• Packaging
• Production
• The people involved
