Relative pronouns

Slide 34 - Slide

Relative pronouns: who and which
- King Arthur, who lived in the 5th and 6th centuries, was a legendary leader.
- Is this the boy who pulled the sword out of the stone?

This is King Arthur’s sword Excalibur, which was driven into a stone by the
wizard Merlin.
The knights rode black horses, which had red and yellow harnesses on.

Slide 35 - Slide

Relative pronouns: who/which or THAT?
In sommige gevallen kun je in plaats van who or which ook THAT gebruiken.

Is that the man who / that gave you a compliment?
I like the song which / that is on the radio now.

Slide 36 - Slide

Relative pronouns: WHOSE
