Als je vertelt/schrijft over iets dat in het VERLEDEN gebeurde/wat je in het verleden deed en je vertelt/schrijft WANNEER dat gebeurde.

AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCE (+)
+ Ond – 2e vorm onr ww of stam+ed – rest v.d. zin.
 I played bass guitar when I was young. Last week, the teacher told me to practice more.
NEGATIVE SENTENCE (-)
- Ond – did not / didn’t stam (=is 1e vorm of ed er af) – rest van de zin.
 He didn’t like the party he went to a week ago. They didn’t break that window last night.
QUESTION
? Did – ond – stam – rest van de zin?
 Did you talk to Louis van Gaal when you saw him? Did he buy that car yesterday?
