I can explain when to use to present simple, and what the general rule to apply this is.

Ik kan uitleggen wanneer de present simple gebruikt moet worden, en wat de basisregel is om het toe te passen.

Present Simple

• Present simple = tegenwoordige tijd
• Geeft regelmaat of feiten aan.

Voorbeeld:

I brush my teeth every night.

Ik poets mijn tanden elke avond.

• Dit is een feit
  
• De persoon doet het regelmatig
  

Present Simple

Hoe gebruik je de present simple op de juiste manier?

Neem de stappen door bij het volgende voorbeeld:

(walk) I ..... in the forest on Tuesdays.

• Onderstreep wie het werkwoord gebruikt.
  
• Is het he/she/it/naam (enkelvoud)?                   --->    werkwoord + s
• ... of is het I/you/we/they?                                       --->    werkwoord
• Schrijf het antwoord op de puntjes.

I walk in the forest on Tuesdays.

Use the present simple:
(look) She .... at the birds in the morning.
