Wat weet / kun je al?

1. Anna: "I hate him."
Jij vertelt wat Anna heeft gezegd, goed of fout:
You: "Anna said she hated him."

2. Anna: "I am going to visit my sister."
Jij vertelt wat Anna heeft gezegd, goed of fout:
You: "Anna said that she is going to visit her sister."

3. Anna: "I travelled to Amsterdam last week"

Indirect Speech (1)

- Gebruik je om te vertellen wat iemand anders eerder heeft gezegd:

Dave: "I really like Harry Potter."
Dave said he really likes Harry Potter

Indirect Speech (2)

- Omdat wat iemand heeft gezegd eerder is gebeurd, moet je de tijd aanpassen: 

- Present Simple -> Past Simple
   Peter: "I have a test next week."
   Peter said that he had a test next week.

Indirect Speech (3)

- Present Continuous -> Past Continuous
   Amber: "I am reading a book."
   Amber said she was reading a book.

- Past Simple -> Past Perfect
   Mary: "I moved here last year."
   Mary said that she had moved here last year.

Indirect Speech (4)

- Let goed op persoonlijke en bezittelijke voornaamwoorden:

Chris: "My brother and I are really close."
Chris said his brother and he were really close."

Jack: "My dad is picking me up later."
Jack said his dad was picking him up later.

Weer even oefenen:

Grammar 14:

One vs. Ones

One vs. Ones (1)

- Gebruik je om een zelfstandig naamwoord dat eerder in de zin genoemd was te vervangen: 

"A used car is much cheaper than a new one."
"Do you prefer the black shoes or the red ones?"

One vs. Ones (2)

- Gebruik je na een bijvoeglijk naamwoord:
  "There are big problems and small ones."

- Gebruik je na which:
  "I have to read a book. Which one should I pick? 

One vs. Ones (3)

- Gebruik je na this, that, these en those:
  "Do you like thrillers? This one is a must-read."

- Gebruik je als zelfstandig naamwoord:
  "Muffins? I like the ones with chocolate best."
