We/You/They: were + ww+ ing

De past continuous gebruik als je wilt benadrukken dat iets al een een tijdje aan de gang is/was. Je was iets aan het doen.

ontkennende zinnen;  didn't + HELE WW

De past simple gebruik als je wilt benadrukken dat iets al is afgerond, het is geweest.
