The Present Continuous 

Gebruik:
Als iets NU gebeurt. 

Vorm:
vorm van to be  (am/is/are) + werkwoord + ing

Voorbeeld:
I am walking right now. 

The Present Simple

Gebruik:
Als iets vaak, regelmatig, soms gebeurt.
Als iets een feit is. 

Vorm:
Stam of stam +s

Voorbeeld:
He walks to school every day. 

Signaalwoorden

Hoe weet je welke tijd je moet gebruiken?
Signaalwoorden:
Vaak staan er in de zin bepaalde woorden waaraan je kan zien welke tijd je moet gebruiken, dit noemen we signaalwoorden.
