Aim: At the end of the lesson, you can design a writing activity for your class.

What writers need to know

Context                    (the 'why and for whom?' with what text type?)

Content                     (the 'what' - message)

Language system (the 'how' - lexis and language structures 

                                       needed to get the message across)

Writing process     (the most effective and efficient way to 

                                       accomplish the task)
