Work alone

You have three minutes to write down as many animals als you know in English

NOTE! You will score one point for each animal, but only if nobody else in your group has the same animal!

Work in groups

Read out your animals. Check if anyone else has the same animal as you or not. Score a point for each unique animal.

Study the words and sentences.

Mark the words you already totally know in green.

Mark the words you do not know yet or are not sure of yet in yellow. 

Then stick the list in your notebook.

Time left? Test yourself or a neighbour! 

Describing an animal 

Work in pairs.

One chooses an animal from the pictures.

Decribe it in English. Use words from the list.

The other one guesses the animal.

Then swap. 

Keep doing this until the time is up.
