  • title page
  • correct and clear contents page
  • chapter 1: introduction 
  • chapter 2: description, analysis and justification of the observations made at the first school visit  
  • chapter 3: resolution (goal for BO2 placement practice)
  • a complete appendix with numbered and labelled (titled) forms.

  • correct and clear contents page

  • chapter 1: introduction with description of both schools and both observed teachers (provide context)
  • chapter 2: based on an analysis, explain which of the two schools appealed to you most
  • chapter 3: resolutions (which of the two teacher behaviours will you try out for BO2?
  • a complete appendix with numbered and labelled (titled) forms.

Discuss and write down 5 things you can see a good host and presenter do in the (English) classroom (chapters 4+5 from Slooter, 2010)

Use the observation form
  • Name one thing you can do as a teacher for each behavioral indicator, so 8 in total (you can use your preparations for today)
  • Think of teachers at the schools you attended:
        - what did they do?
        - how did they do it?
  • Think of what you’ve seen teachers at the HvA do regarding these roles.
  • Why do you think these actions are successful?

       - What kind of host or presenter would you like to be?
        - What do you think you can do already? Why?
  • Do preparation for Session 3 (see Brightspace > Session 3 > DT1A/B)
  • Start looking for 2 schools for school visit days
