We gebruiken at als je het hebt over dat iemand of iets bij een bepaalde locatie is.

We gebruiken on als je het over de oppervlakte hebt / iets ergens bovenop is.

He is driving on the motorway.

We gebruiken in als je het hebt over dat iemand of iets in een bepaalde locatie is.

He lives in Amsterdam.

REGELS MET BETREKKING TOT TIJDEN

We gebruiken at als je het hebt over specifieke tijdstippen.

The show starts at 4 o'clock.

We gebruiken on als je het hebt over dagen en data.

Christmas is on the 25th of December.

We gebruiken in als je het hebt over langere periodes of als je het woord 'over' bedoeld.

We have not seen each other in a long time.
