• Bij namen van personen of dieren
• .... in het enkelvoud
• .... in het meervoud als woorden niet op een S eindigen
• Bij expressions of time

My parents' car. (parents = meervoud met s)

His siblings' hobby. (siblings = meervoud met s)

Wie weet het verschil?

My sisters' room is small.

My sister's room is small.

If something belongs to more than one person, and we give a list of names, the 's  comes after the last name in the list.

-Jack is Anne and Gary's son. 

We use 's' at the end of names and nouns, even if the word ends in 's'

-James's cello

-Dickens's last novel 

-My boss's office

! The pronunciation can be /zız/ or /sız/  !
