De tegenwoordige tijd noemen we in het Engels de present simple.

We gebruiken de present simple als iets altijd, vaak of nooit gebeurt.

Signaalwoorden die de present simple aangeven: always, never, sometimes. often, during the week, etc.

Hoe maak je de present simple?

SHIT-regel: She, He, IT = werkwoord + s

I, you, we, they	hele werkwoord	vb. I like animals
he, she, it	werkwoord + s	vb. he likes animals

Uitzonderingen

Eindigt het werkwoord op:
