Relative pronouns zijn voornaamwoorden die gebruikt worden om meer informatie te geven over eerdergenoemde dieren, personen of dingen. Welke ken je nog?

Relative pronouns

Nederlands: dat, die, wie, wat, welke

Om te verwijzen naar personen gebruik je:

Betrekkelijke voornaamwoorden

(who, whom, whose, which, that)

Als je meer informatie geeft over eerdergenoemde personen, dieren, dingen of plaatsen.

1. Who/that gebruik je bij personen

2. Which/that gebruik je bij dieren, dingen en plaatsen

3. Whose gebruik je bij de vertaling 'van wie', 'waarvan' of 'wiens'

4. Whom/which gebruik je na een voorzetsel

waar de zin over gaat (geen komma gebruiken).

5. That gebruiken bij zinnen die niet tussen twee komma's staan (geen komma gebruiken).
