Difference between adverbs and adjectives.

An adjective is used to talk about nouns

- He is a quick learner. 

An adverb is used to talk about verbs

- He learns quickly. 

Make an adverb of the following words:
Quick
Easy
Fast

Formation of adverbs

1. regular adverbs -> add -ly 

(Quickly, early, slowly, rapidly, badly) 

2. Adjectives ending in -y change the -y to -i and then add -ly

(Easily, happily, luckily) 

3. Irregular adverbs -> change completely, so study them! 

(Fast, hard, well)
