Use of English - MC Cloze
- Let me hand this out first.
- First make assignments 1 - 4.

Slide 14 - Slide

What stategy did you use?

Slide 15 - Mind map

The strategy the book suggests:
- Read the whole text carefully before looking at the options
- Think carefully about your choice of answer. Remember that you are often being tested not just on choosing a word which is grammatically correct, but also one which best fits the sense or tone of the text.
- Always choose an answer, even if you are not sure you are right. You are not penalized for wrong answers. You have a 25% chance of getting an answer right even if you really have no idea what the answer is!

Slide 16 - Slide

Now let's try 5-8 with that strategy!

Slide 17 - Slide

Let's check the answers!
