AM / IS / ARE  + HET WERKWOORD + -ing

2. Present Continuous

gebruik je als je wilt zeggen dat het NU aan de gang is. 

In het Nederlands zeggen we dan vaak 'aan het....' of 'zit(ten) te...

He is walking. = Hij is aan het lopen.

I am driving = Ik ben aan het autorijden.

Zin negatief maken? -> not

I am not walking. 

We aren't walking.

Vraagzin?

Begin de zin met AM / IS / ARE

Are you listening to me?

Is he gaming during this English class?

Are the girls dancing during at this moment?

Spelling alarm! (see page 133)

1. Woorden die eindigen op -e
   live -> living           move-> moving
2. Woorden die eindigen op -ie
   lie -> lying             die -> dying.
3. Soms verdubbelt laatste letter van het woord. Meestal korte woorden die eindigen op één klinker + medeklinker
   get -> getting         swim-> swimming             travel->travelling
