Negative prefixes
Negative prefixes are added to the beginning of a word to give it the opposite meaning.
Common negative prefixes include:
un- ("happy" → "unhappy," meaning "not happy")
in- (, "correct" → "incorrect," meaning "not correct")
im- (used before words starting with "m" or "p," e.g., "possible" → "impossible," meaning "not possible")
ir- (used before words starting with "r," e.g., "responsible" → "irresponsible," meaning "not responsible")
dis - disagree (from "agree," meaning "not agree")

Suffixes

Suffixes are word endings added to a base word to change its meaning or grammatical function. They can indicate tense, form adjectives or nouns, and more.
Suffixen zijn woorduitgangen die aan een basiswoord worden toegevoegd om de betekenis of grammaticale functie te veranderen. Ze kunnen de tijd aangeven, bijvoeglijke naamwoorden of zelfstandige naamwoorden vormen, en meer.
-ly (adverb): "quick" → "quickly"
-ness (noun): "happy" → "happiness"
-ful (adjective): "care" → "careful"
-er (noun): "teach" → "teacher"
