How to recognize a passive sentence...
- A form of 'to be' (am, are, is, was, were, been)
- Followed by a past participle (voltooid deelwoord), like 'bitten'
- Followed by, for example, 'by a lion' OR
- If not, can it be followed by  'by zombies'?

Nature already has all the solutions, we just need to 'take a hint' and use our knowledge from science and our engineering skills to make the world a better place.
