Bijvoorbeeld:
I had to work last night (en niet: I must work last night).
I have to travel to London on Sunday for my work. (en niet: I must travel to London on Sunday for my work .)
Must wordt vaak in geschreven teksten en instructies gebruikt. Zo schrijf je bijvoorbeeld: The letters must be here by 14 April.
Must & Have to
Slide 10 - Diapositive
Should
You should go to bed now. (Je moet nu naar bed gaan).
I think he shouldn’t go there anymore.
She should have left the house earlier.
