Als je voor één of meerdere vakken onvoldoende staat, dan moet je je voor max 2 (van die vakken) verplicht inschrijven. 

Als je begeleiding wilt voor een vak, maar hier niet onvoldoende voor staat, mag je je hier natuurlijk ook voor inschrijven.

Exercise 2

1. They are teens who are obsessed with sneakers.
2. Alex knows just how to get the most money for each pair.
3. Besides spending money on them, you can also earn a lot of money by selling sneakers.
4. Soon, it is on.
5. It quickly becomes clear that Alex knows this game well.
6. So when a new one is released, the price goes up quickly.
7. Nike always opens the sales of new sneakers on Saturday mornings.
8. And so the bartering begins again…

Relative Clauses 

Als je extra informatie over iets/iemand wilt geven, gebruik je een relative clause. (betrekkelijke bijzin in het Nederlands) 

Zo'n bijzin begint meestal met: who, which of that. In het Nederlands begint de zin vaak met die/dat.

Who - personen 

Which - dieren of dingen 

That - personen, dieren of dingen. 

That is informeler dan who/which

Sam, who lives next door, is my best friend. Zonder de relative clause is het nog steeds een goedlopende zin. 

Soms heeft de bijzin alleen extra informatie. Je gebruikt dan nooit that, maar altijd who/which. Deze bijzin staat tussen komma's en kan weggelaten worden zonder dat de zin onduidelijk wordt. 

Carla, who is my best friend, loves to paint. 

Je kunt who/which samen met voorzetsels gebruiken. Meestal staat het voorzetsel dan achteraan in de bijzin. 

The gym, which we always practise in, is closed. 

Het voorzetsel kan ook vooraan in de bijzin staan, dit is formeler. Who veranderd dan soms in whom. 

The instructor, about whom you told me, is really nice. 

Whose geeft bezit aan. Je vertaalt het met: 

waarvan, van wie, wiens of wier. 

The girl, whose passion is dancing, went to the club.

Betrekkelijke bijzinnen

who/that - bij mensen

which/that - dieren en dingen

whose- waarvan, van wie

whom - gaat samen met voorzetzels (by whom/to whom..)

That = informeler dan who/which, kan niet tussen komma's

Relative clauses

Functie: geven extra informatie

1 onmisbare, noodzakelijke informatie

Chocolate is something which we can't get enough of.
(je kan who/which/that hier weglaten- er is geen komma en er staat een onderwerp achter)

2 extra, niet noodzakelijke informatie extra informatie

My friend, who is a pilot, is coming tonight,

  -tussen komma's
  -Je mag GEEN that gebruiken

 -Je kan who/which/ hier NIET weglaten
