Zelfstandige naamwoorden

Lidwoorden : a / an / the / geen lidwoord

• zelfstandig naamwoord begint met een medeklinkerklank: a      >  a table
• zelfstandig naamwoord begint met een klinkerklank: an   > an apple
• bepaald lidwoord / meervoud : the  > the (only) doctor 
• geen lidwoord: at school / in hospital  / in het algemeen

• Bij de meeste woorden -s of -es aan het woord plakken.

• Eindigt woord op medeklinker + y => -y wordt ies

one country - two countries         one strawberry -two strawberries

• Eindigt woord op een -o => -es toevoegen.

one tomato - two tomatoes            one potato - two potatoes

Zelfstandige naamwoorden: meervoud

• Eindigt woord op een -f of -fe => -ves toevoegen

one  shelf >two  shelves                 one knife> two knives

• sommige woorden hebben eigen meervoud > uit je hoofd leren. 

one mouse > two mice           one (wo)man > two (wo)men  one foot >two feet

• sommige woorden blijven hetzelfde in het meervoud.

one fish > two fish           one sheep> two sheep    one deer> two deer

Maak het meervoud van:

Bijwoorden & Bijvoeglijk naamwoorden

Bijvoeglijk naamwoord: zegt iets over eigenschap of toestand van een zelfstandig naamwoord

Bijwoord: zegt o.a. iets over een werkwoord of bijvoeglijk naamwoord.
