Wat is een tag question?

Dat is een kort vraagje aan het einde van de zin. Je vraagt daarmee ofde ander het met je eens is.

Dit doe je vaak onbewust, of niet?

Elke zin heeft altijd een bevestigend deel en een ontkennend (not/n't) deel

3 stappen om een tag te maken:

stap 1: werkwoorden.

Bepaal wat je nodig hebt:

- am/is/are ("to be") in de zin:            herhalen in tag.

- can/have (hulpww) in de zin:           herhalen in tag.

- ander werkwoord:                                 gebruik do/does/did                                                                                           (vorm van "to do")

stap 2: + en - (de balans)

De zin bestaat altijd uit 2 delen, namelijk het bevestigende deel en het ontkennende (not / n't) deel.

zin bevestigend, tag ontkennend

John is happy, isn't he?

zin ontkennend, tag bevestigend

Susan isn't happy, is she?

stap 3: einde tag

Een tag (aangeplakte vraag) eindigt nooit met bijvoorbeeld een volledige naam, maar altijd met:

I, you, she, he, it, we, they

John is happy, isn't John?

John is happy, isn't he?
